Dark Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

Posted on05.10.16 by Nelle

Dark Chocolate Cherry SmoothieStart your day in a really cool way. A Dark Chocolate Cherry Smoothie is perfect for a warm summer morning. It’s cool, refreshing, and it has chocolate! Make it with dark or regular chocolate OR sweet or tart cherries (your choice).

Ingredients for Dark Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

1 cup mixed frozen sweet dark cherries

½ cup almond milk

½ cup full fat Organic Unsweetened Coconut Milk or Organic Coconut Cream (No guar gum or other extra ingredients.)

1 pinch of sea salt

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 ½ tablespoons Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa (You can use regular cocoa powder, if you don’t like the bitterness of dark.)

¾ cup crushed ice

Instructions for Dark Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

Combine all ingredients, except for the ice, in a blender, (I use a Ninja-Nutra Ninja Cup.) and blend until well-combined, turning off blender to scrape the sides as needed. Add ice and blend until smooth.

Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy! Smoothies are always better through a straw, they seem tastier that way.
