Lemon Butter Cod

Lemon Butter CodThis Lemon Butter Cod is simple and delicious. It’s light, flavorful, and great for a quick weeknight meal with your favorite vegetable side or salad.

Ingredients for Lemon Butter Cod

2 pounds wild caught cod fish, thawed (if not fresh)

¼ cup clarified butter, melted 

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning

Instructions for Lemon Butter Cod

In a small bowl, mix together melted clarified butter, lemon juice, and Old Bay Seasoning, 

Heat a cast iron skillet (or skillet of your choice) over medium heat. Dip and coat cod in butter mixture and place in skillet to cook, brush with remaining butter mixture.

Cook over medium heat 5-7 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fish, or until the internal temperature of the fish reaches 145° F and cod flakes easily in the middle with a fork. Enjoy!
