Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Posted on06.11.16 by Nelle

Paleo Honey Garlic Chicken WingsThese Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are at the top of my husband’s game-day appetizer list! They are great as an appetizer or as a main dish and super easy. Simply coat, bake, brush with sticky honey garlic sauce, and pop back into the oven for a few minutes more and they are done!

Ingredients for Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

50 split chicken wings

½ cup cassava flour

Sauce Ingredients:

½ cup pure honey

1/2 cup Coconut Aminos Seasoning Sauce (You can use 1/3 cup regular Liquid Aminos if you have no issues with soy)

2 tablespoons water

5 large garlic cloves, finely minced

 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes

Additional sea salt, to taste

Instructions for Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Heat oven to 400° F. Rinse chicken wings under cold water, pat dry with paper towels. Toss wings with cassava flour to lightly coat. Place wings in parchment paper-lined baking dishes. Bake at 400° F for 40 minutes, turning wings halfway through baking time.

Meanwhile,  combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat, whisk, and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened to about half consistency.

Use a pastry brush to coat the wings on both sides with sauce and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until sauce is sticky. Serve as a main dish or appetizer. Enjoy, but don’t forget the wet wipes!
